Mother's Day at the Beach

This is the start of the tacky tourist shops - Yippee!

This cross is so huge. It is on the cutoff from Sam Houston Tollway to 45. Hard to see coming into town but you cannot miss it on the way out. God is good!

This is our house for this year. No climbing through grass or a pier this year...just step off the decking and you are on the beach.

This is the house next door to the rental - they are working hard. About 4 feet of beach was washed out underneath this house's slab.

This is a house about 5 houses down from our new rental. So sad that nothing has been done. It will be interesting to see if anything changes over the next 5-6 weeks.
