what can i say about baby e at the moment...

* she makes me feel a love deep inside me that i doubted would be there for #3

* i love the way she holds onto my finger when i nurse her - kind of like i am her security blanket

* i love the way she has started to giggle spontaneously at what she finds amusing

* i am thrilled when I hear one of your big sisters wanting to change you or feed you

* i love that you are still so content and take naps willingly

* even know the timing of your arrival has been crazy, i truly love you beyond words and can't imagine our family without you

* i love you Ellie Belle

Bluebonnets Take One

We tried to get some pictures of the girls in the BB today but it was really windy. We are going to try again when the girls have their hair back and Ellie Belle is well fed and happy!

Easter Egg Hunt

We were invited to several Easter Egg Hunts this year and we were really unsure how to handle them with the recent developments with A Bear's health and her diabetes. We decided to go to one put on by a Realtors' office here in town and boy am I glad we did. We had talked with A Bear about the possibility of her getting candy that she would not be able to eat...but they did not have any candy! Praise be to God!!! All of the eggs were filled with trinkets or tickets. If the kids got a ticket, they were able to trade them in for some really neat stuff - kites, bubble wands, chinese yoyos, bunny ears, etc. It was a wonderful morning and both the big girls enjoyed themselves tremendously. Thanks for the invite Michelle.

I'm Cool and I Know It

This is how E Belle is found most of the time when she is sleeping...she usually stays like this for awhile after she wakes too! Look at the chunky arms - I want to squeeze on them constantly!

MM's Hero Project

MM was given the assignment to study an American hero. Her and Daddy picked Dale Earnhardt. She was able to spend a lot of time with her Daddy while completing this project and she learned a lot about Nascar and the driving legend. I have a video of her presentation...hopefully I can post it soon!

Get your guns up...and I am not talking about TT!

B taught MM how to use her 22 rifle over the Spring Break holiday while we were at his parents house. She had a good time once she became comfortable with how it all worked. Her original target was a soda can, then we went to a metal coffee can and finally to targets. She is going to be good at shooting!

Spring Break Bowling Trip

After being in Austin for A Bear's first checkup appt. we spent a couple days in Austin with Jenni and her kiddos. We wanted to go to the Children's Museum but then realized it was SXSW downtown. So we headed to Main Event for some bowling fun. The kids realized that it is a lot harder to bowl in person then it is on the Wii!

Happy Valentine's Day

A Bear's preschool class visited a local nursing home on Valentine's Day this year. They sang several
wonderful songs and brought the residents candy and balloons. They all seems to really enjoy themselves.
