Dinner with Santa
Podge and Daddy got the priviledge of taking MM and A Bear to dinner with Santa the evening that Baby E and I came home from the hospital. They all got to eat some yummy fajitas (TX Christmas dinner) and make some fun crafts as well as listen to stories from Mrs. Claus and taking pictures with Santa. They both came bounding in the door after the event and were full of stories telling Modge and me everything they did. Daddy surprised me with a silent auction item of handmade wooden boxes and a book set with a yummy candle. They all had a good time! Merry Christmas Santa XOXOXO
A Bear's Holiday Dance at the Library
Because Baby E came early, Modge and Podge got to take the girls to the Presidential Library for A Bear's holiday dance performance. She shook her bootie to the "Wiggles Christmas" and then they got to make ornaments, eat cookies, and get their pcitures taken. Thanks Modge and Podge for making this day go off without a hitch (a little hitch with Rosie but that is another story all together).

Life with three children...
It has not been as hard as an adjustment as I thought it would be. I am loving time with all my girls and am soaking in all the newness of Baby Ellie. Both the big girls are wanting to help with every little task that involved their new sister (when it comes to things they need to do - clean their rooms, put clothes away...that is another story all together). It is nice to have the help and you can tell that they love their little sis. Feedings are going well and she is an easy going baby - sleeps through all the chaos and is happy being held or left alone, either way! She usually is wide awake in the evenings so that has been nice for Daddy too!
We went for her 2 week checkup and she is now 6 lbs 12 oz (birth weight was 6.8) and has grown 1/4 of inch already. I think the extra weight has gone straight to her checks - she is filling out nicely! All other areas of her check up went well too! Got her PKU test done yesterday and she barely squeaked.
MM finished off the semester missing the last two days of school - she is fighting some nasty allergies that are causing her asthma to act up. She also has a small case of pneumonia so we immediately started her on antibiotics. Needless to say, she missed her school party. That happened in Kinder too - hopefully she will make it to the party next year!
A Bear had a small Christmas pageant at her school on Thursday before breaking for the holidays. She was a momma cat in the play. Pics and maybe a video to come soon.
Weekend plans: clean house, finish wrapping presents, some baking and watching Christmas movies with the girls - we are staying away from the stores like the plague...it is crazy out there!

Newest little Pfeiffer!
Saturday, November 22, 2008
This was A Bear last year at her Thanksgiving Feast. This was right before all her health problems began. In fact we took her home early from the feast because she just was not herself. She did not sing, do any of the movements or any of the feast. Needless to say she had a double ear infection at the time and was about to be diagnosed with pnuemonia as well as a collapsed lung. We are so thankful for her health this year and God's healing for her little body and spirit.
What a difference a year makes...
Addie is saying her prayer "God is Good to Me". She is right on about that one!
